Baby Maverick | Newborn Session

I’m so thankful for little babies coming into my studio!

This little guy was absolutely precious and his sweet presence was just the breath of fresh air I needed. I had a few options lined up for mom and dad to choose from, but wanted to keep the tone cozy and sweet, just like their little bundle of wonder.

One of the most requested poses is the wrapped pose. For this shoot, I utilized this pose quite a bit to emphasize the sweetness of baby Maverick’s face, and the fragility of his little fingers and toes. I chose the earthy tones of brown, green and beige to add to the overall tone of warmth and coziness (or as I prefer to call it, warm and fuzzies!)

There is so much wonder in a new baby’s eyes. Just seeing a newborn inevitably fills my heart with hope, because there are just so many possibilities that this tiny human has in front of him. Babies come into this world as blank canvases, and everything they experience adds a little bit of color and texture, until one day there’s an entire life’s worth wrapped in one, beautiful image.

That’s why my passion is maternity and newborn photography, and I’ve made it my mission to capture the timelessness of motherhood and infancy.

They say that mommies have a wonderful memory. Once our baby is here, we forget about the difficulties we faced in bringing this little life into the world, and we only remember the wonderful feeling of holding him in our arms. Looking back on these photos will bring you back to this simple, beautiful time for many years to come.
